[B.] This post is a work-in-progress. Please suggest additions and changes at your leisure.
This is a compilation of easy and accessible recipes/patterns for those who want to level their crafting quickly. I define "easy and accessible" here as:
- Taking few materials.
- Requiring few tools (in the case of cooking).
- Available from a low crafting level.
The following four recipes are probably the most accessible. They each require only one ingredient, are available for purchase right away, and do not use any tools. Raisins will likely be easier than Spinach Salad or Corn Kernels, as there are two shops that stock the ingredients instead of one.
Raisins
- Ingredients: Red Grapes (Robin and Zephyr common, ~500 shards)
- Tools: None.
- Recipe sold by: Robin (common, ~500 shards)
- Cooking level: 1
Golden Raisins
- Ingredients: White Grapes (Robin and Zephyr common, ~500 shards)
- Tools: None.
- Recipe sold by: Robin (common, ~500 shards)
- Cooking level: 1
Corn Kernels
- Ingredients: Corn (Robin common, ~500 shards)
- Tools: None.
- Recipe sold by: Robin (common, ~500 shards)
- Cooking level: 1
- Notes: I believe newbies begin with this recipe already learned. Corn is also sold by the Witch, but new players are unlikely to have access to the Shadow Stage.
Spinach Salad
- Ingredients: Spinach (Robin common, ~500 shards)
- Tools: None.
- Recipe sold by: Robin (common, ~800 shards)
- Cooking level: 1
- Notes: The on-boarding unique quests will give this recipe to you.
Coffee can also be a good supplementary source for leveling. Jay has a quest that will reward you with more coffee beans in exchange for coffee, which potentially eliminates the need to buy ingredients. However, the recipes themselves are not accessible right away, and they require the use of a Grain Mill and Press Pot, which take time to clean.
(Note: your on-boarding unique quests will give you a free Grain Mill and Press Pot, so don't bother buying them.)
Dark Roast Coffee
- Ingredients: Dark Roast Coffee Beans (Robin common, ~400 shards)
- Tools: Grain Mill, Press Pot
- Recipe sold by: Jay (common, ~500 shards)
- Cooking level: 3
Blonde Roast Coffee
- Ingredients: Blonde Roast Coffee Beans (Robin common, ~400 shards)
- Tools: Grain Mill, Press Pot
- Recipe sold by: Jay (common, ~500 shards)
- Cooking level: 3
Hazelnut Coffee
- Ingredients: Hazelnut Coffee Beans (Robin uncommon, ~700 shards)
- Tools: Grain Mill, Press Pot
- Recipe sold by: Jay (uncommon, ~1000 shards)
- Cooking level: 4
Vanilla Coffee
- Ingredients: Vanilla Coffee Beans (Robin uncommon, ~700 shards)
- Tools: Grain Mill, Press Pot
- Recipe sold by: Jay (uncommon, ~1000 shards)
- Cooking level: 4
The easiest patterns for Tailoring are eyebrow patterns, which do not require any materials. However, they cannot be purchased. They are only given out by Kei's daily quests. (There is also a giveaway for them.)
The second easiest patterns are the umbrella patterns, which require only the pattern and Canvas, available immediately. Prioritize buying many copies of the patterns, as unlike recipes, they are used up every time an item is crafted, and Andre has a very large pattern stock.
Open Umbrella Pattern
- Materials: Canvas (Andre and Quintina common, ~100 shards, level 1)
- Pattern sold by: Andre (common, ~100 shards)
- Notes: Canvas is sold by all tailors, but newbies will only have access to Andre and Quintina.
Closed Umbrella Pattern
- Materials: Canvas (Andre and Quintina common, ~100 shards, level 1)
- Pattern sold by: Andre (common, ~100 shards)
- Notes: Canvas is sold by all tailors, but newbies will only have access to Andre and Quintina.

This is a great list! I don't know if it might be helpful to add which stat the different things gives or not, to make it easier to balance powerleveling with Kith growth (I know there are spreadsheets detailing those stats though).
Another easy recipe is for Bunana Recipe. The recipe can be gotten for free through the Redeem code (which should still work?), and only takes one banana to craft (which is a Robin and Bonnie common, at ~500 shards. So kinda in the same boat as Spinach Salad and Corn Kernels, but it grants Speed).

It might be worth adding some easy levelling recipes for non-default remnants too. They're not as helpful for immediate newbies, but some recipes are easier to complete for other remnants.
Main one that comes to mind is Wasabi Taffy - which only needs Wasabi. Since Bonnie's shop stock is so much smaller than Jay and Robin's, it's (theoretically) much easier to buy lots of items to craft with.
I haven't looked into other remnants but they likely have recipes like this too, and having some for each remnant would be good for users regardless of what their first remnant unlock ends up being.
(It might also be worth listing what recipes will have use in other questlines for people who want more profit. E.g. spinach salad is harder to buy for than corn kernals, but is also asked for in hourlies for shard returns, which might make it more appealing to some users as a choice? Similar to the info you have abt the coffee quest. Raisins are also I think requested from Lycus's one food-for-ingredients quest?)

Oh I'll add a couple more I can think of!
Not quite as easy as corn kernels, but popcorn is another good one to have- it takes the corn kernels you already made, and I know at least Lycus can ask for it. And eventually when you get the fancy popcorns from Piper, can be useful for that.
*Nods with mochi about wasabi taffy* Other relatively easy recipes I can think of in other remnants-
EF- the dried fruits, need a petrified log but it's got a cooldown of only a minute so can be pretty helpful. Blueberries are power, cherries are guard, and cranberries are speed, so if you rotate is actually nice balanced stats.
CR- in addition to wasabi (which happens to be another speed recipe in case you want to record those), I find dried seaweed (power, 10 minute cooldown) and coconut meat (guard, 5 minute cooldown) relatively quick and are used in other recipes.
The other three I don't find as useful for easy, just want the points recipes, but I may be missing something/got used to the first few I unlocked!
They are level two but I also think the Hope teas are useful- just require a microwave, and are asked for in a variety of quests.
I went to check and see if maybe GC had a few recipes that might be helpful, but at least right now they don't have anything for cooked food that cycles into quests, so aren't quite at the tier as the Hope ones. Yogurts in general and pomegranate seeds come to mind as low level quests, with pomegranate seeds having the benefit of being used in other recipes, but I think GC will benefit if cooking quests get added for them at some point.

its not hope tailoring, but the masks on the stage are pretty cheap to make, since they only need the pattern and the mask making kit.
For easy GC recipes, they dont have any no tool recipes, but have a decent amount that have only one ingredient --
Barbarian Jerky: Raw Wild Boar + Fields of Time
Broiled Hydra Roast: Hydra Roast + River of Fire and Annointed Spears
Fall Spoon Sweet: Pomegranate Seeds + River of Ice
Nightmare's Fire Sauce: Divine Flame + Clay jugs
Plain Strained Yogurt: Yogurt + Pool of Oblivion
Pomegrante Juice Pomegranate + Clay Jug
Pomegranate Seeds: Pomegranate + Pits of Pain
Roasted Squab Drumstick: Raw wild squab + Divine Flame and Annointed spear
Spring's Fortune: Ichor + Sacred Riverboat
Winter Spoon Sweet: Divine Nectar + River of Ice
Typing this out, looks like making Pomegrante Seeds and then Fall Spoon Sweets would be a halfway decent plan if you had to choose anything from this list. I'd say Spring's Fortune too, but as far as I can tell you literally only use the Sacred Riverboat for that recipe so I'm not sure if thats the best newbie investment.
