Off topic, but do we have a compilation description of what Pearl, Debbie, and Zach look like? From the above, they all have pale skin and brown eyes. Is it mentioned what they're wearing/hair colour/hairstyle/heights/etc. are?

I am filling out my character bios nicely. :P Now it seems like Debbie, at least, is on our side. If there's no common link between the three of them in the present, maybe there's something in the past? IMO it might be better off to do a little info gathering before acting again. >Drink tea and discuss the possibility of any potential weird, shared family history. (I hope that's not a particularly taboo subject among New Englanders.)

(I can give you all some physical trait info/minor character bio, if you'd like. This is after re-reading 60+ pages to confirm this information, because I don't have a word document filled with information, unlike you! I'm just flying by the seat of my pants! *laughs* [b]Pearl ?????[/b] - Early 20s. Approximately 120-130 pounds, short, female and feminine presenting. Dark hair (either chestnut brown or black), approximately shoulder-blade length, with dark brown eyes. Middling-to-short height, probably no taller than 5'4", no shorter than 5'0". Has slightly wider-than-average shoulders, due to being a member of the swim team many years ago, but thin, small build. Nevertheless, she considers herself non-athletic now, klutzy, she easily bruises, and she's easily embarrassed, all of which would keep her from performance sports. She's an artsy individual, who plays with a variety of media including watercolours, she likes web-sleuthing and missing persons cases, and she's unfortunately reacting to this incident in an incredibly anxious manner. She has raggedy fingernails from a history of responding to stress with chewing them down. She has average looks, and dresses very modestly. She seems to be a psych major; at the very least is working towards completing her BS. Pearl has four siblings, two male, two female, all younger. (????, Aaron, Janice, and Maggie). [b]Debbie Spooner[/b] - Early 20s, same age as Pearl. Female but more ambiguously presenting, probably just out of 'laziness' than any intention to purposefully buck gender norms. Probably closer to 140-150 pounds, on an approx. 5'6"-5'7" frame. Tousled black hair about mid-neck length, thick round glasses that amplify her already large eyes. Her eyes are hazel, so could variously be described as honey gold, muted green-brown, or dark brown -- don't take this as an assumption of Edward Cullen-esque leanings here! She is an odd mix of soft and tough, unable to work the last of her body fat off, but strong arms and legs, solid stomach. Wide hips, large cup-size, rounded jaw, both physically intimidating and strangely maternal. She's more like a 'Jasper' compared to Pearl, especially because she is physically exuberant. If she told you she was trained to chase Bigfoot down through the untamed Appalachians, you would believe her. She doesn't wear cosmetics, and doesn't care about how well-groomed her eyebrows are. She is frequently seen in geek-wear, ratty jeans, and a noir-style trenchcoat, which does effectively make her seem a little smaller, if unfeminine. Despite making use of the campus gym and track, she has never participated in a sport. She always has a notepad and pencil stub on her to take notes on anything and everything. She has one little sister, about 12 years younger, immensely bratty. As mentioned just one post before, she's into investigative journalism/reporting, with the clear emphasis on being able to do all of those kooky History Channel specials on aliens. [b]Zach Prescott[/b] - Early 20s, 1-2 years older than Debbie. Trans-male. ~110 pounds, and very noticeably thin, to the point of being called bony. He wears his hair slicked back in a shiny, jet-black pompadour most of the time, out of his face. He may be a bit of a dandy about his clothing -- always in button-downs, always in suit-pants, willing to wear pinks and magentas and in many ways preferring those bright colours to the bland navy/black/tan options. He has a sprinkling of freckles at his collarbone and a few around his eyes and cheekbones. He has large hands for his size, about 5'3", and maintains squared-off, manicured nails. The game noted already that he has hairy legs, so he doesn't 'manscape'; that's at-odds with the desperately immaculate presentation. He has picturesque eyelashes framing bright blue eyes and soft lips, but a solid jawline with a nice pointed chin. It's darker with the hinting of facial hair, but always kept smooth-shaven. He's a single-child, and his parents are right now having some acrimony in their life; it's expected to end in divorce. Pearl might not know what his major is. Hope this helps!)

Suspicious brain immediately leapt to a dark thought of, "We're all on a timer and didn't know it, if we don't do X things before page 75 then Y will happen and she'll draw the Terrible Occurrence to drive it home!" before realizing, "NO, this is actually a [s]nice[/s] amazing offer in a celebratory fashion, stop being so paranoid, the story is dark and scary but Egon isn't. Probably."
