This was so worth all the hardship getting that palette up here. *wipes tears out of eyes*

Also, has anyone had a point where they're working on an art project or a revamp, and they like the older/original artwork better than the work you're working on right now? Kinda hitting a rut in a reworking of some postcards for my shop (basically monster cheesecake poses) and while the anatomy is much improved, the energy from the original sketches seems to have been lost in translation. *sob*

Cheesecake Definition So I'd have a small collection of monster dudes in saucy poses (usually) fully-clothed.

These (sort of) are connected to the palette prompts by being restrained to single or bi-hued pieces, with the character skin allowed to act as a 'splash' colour. The originals are coming up on 4 years old, and while they're crappy tegaki sketches, they still feel more 'energetic'. Bigger lines, sketchier expressions, all of that which tricks the eye into seeing something more complete in an otherwise unfinished piece. Now the more polished stuff looks extremely static. TT3TT;;
Actual food art would be super cute, though!
