This is a forum game! Inspired by Egon's amazing "Indecision", I'm here with a more poorly written alternative, supplemented with illustrations.
You, the reader, can comment on what Protag should do. Please begin all instructions with a >.
eg) >run away!

Your sensors cannot detect noise, scents, sights. You are staring up into an abyss of #000000. Black, is the word.
Are you lying horizontally, or standing in the air? There is nothing, no perspective with which to align yourself.
Suddenly, a black screen appears in front of you. It appears to be holographic.
You have three choices: A,B, or C.

You rouse yourself to a soft patter of raindrops. The forest is in shades of #0A4016 and #162E1B.
It is soft, gentle. You see trees on all sides, a thick, dense, cluster of foliage and moss. Your sense of smell indicates dampness, and an undertone of rotting leaves. The soil is slippery and squishy beneath your feet.

Good idea. But first, you need an overview, to see the lie of the land. You scramble up a tree, and take a good, long, look at the forest. You notice a prominent...hill...thing...not too far away. You estimate 15 minutes travel, 10 if you run.
So you run. Perhaps there is a cave you can go into to stay out of the rain. You can't catch hypothermia, but you can feel the cold, and it is uncomfortable.
The rain carries on, but it stays light. The sound would be soothing, if it weren't so damp. You concentrate on the ground, and take note of the information being relayed to you in your eyeballs. You are heading east.
It takes a little while, but your ranging scanners indicate the strange hill is near. You brush leaves and moisture off of yourself, and inspect it.
Suddenly, you feel...confusion. There is an entrance, but it isn't an entrance to a cave. It's been hewn out, by some intelligent creature. This grey hill is not a rough rock formation, but something designed to look like a rough rock formation. A disguise.

Although you'd started out in hope of shelter, suddenly, you're not so sure if you should go in. You don't have any lighting with you, and your model doesn't feature built in lighting. You stare at the passageway in silence.

Well. You're not entirely sure about this, but you feel a strong compulsion to enter this dark tunnel of unknown.
![]()
You walk on for what seems like hours, but was probably only a minute. Your anxiety readings creep steadily higher, and you wonder if your agility model is going to be useful if something attacks you in this small, cramped, space. Suddenly, you see a faint light.
![]()
You stumble into a circular room, lined with concrete. There's a bashed out window in the wall. It looks like it should have been a screen of sorts, with access to a sealed door.
Well. It's all broken, and you think you might be able to fit through that panel, agility model and all.
You don't feel safe, though...should you really go through there? Maybe you could go outside and get a weapon before coming back...maybe just forget about this whole thing and set off in another direction???

(oh my gosh, I absolutely hate how rushed this was.)
Tentatively, you creep up to the window. The other room is emitting a luminous glow, and as you peer past the fog, you feel a stab on unease.
There are...canisters...leaking a viscous, gooey liquid. They've been smashed apart, and there's a sickly sweet scent floating about.

That looks radioactive/poisonous. Is your robotic body capable of enduring those levels of toxicity?

Hm, actually, radiation is often associated with glowing green light because radium was initially used for luminescence. Radiation by itself often doesn't glow.
(You have no idea how that popped into your head, but you assume its from a database of information you're connected to...somehow.)
Hey, even though you probably can't be poisoned, it's better to be safe than sorry!
The results come up clean, and you're fine apart from a few superficial scratches on your surface from running through rough terrain.
