What's that (annoying) sound?

OMG, you guys (and everyone else NOT sitting on a cushion! #chaucerout) , so I'm sitting at the coffee shop rn minding my own and whatnot when this dude totally sits down next to me and starts SLURPING his coffee.

First of all, gross. Second of all, wait for it to cool down, my dude! No coffee is worth scalded tastebuds and I would run away and marry coffee if I could, you get me?
Anyway, got me thinking.
"Sota, you're a pretty high strung individual with a lot of issues with various noises others find totally normal. Maybe you're just insane."
But like, I know I'm not insane because I fully and completely accept that I'm probably the most insane graphic designer procrastinating on a job sitting in this coffee shop currently.
It's the crazies that don't acknowledge their crazy that are crazy. Y'dig?

What sound do you find the most annoying in all the land?
Obvi for me, currently, it's the rando sucking down coffee that's hotter than the magma on the surface of the sun. Is there magma on the surface of the sun? I don't know. Will check and reassess world view.

In answer to your question, the one noise in the universe that we find the most aggravating is repetitive "beeping". Or any noise that's repetitive really. Drives us nuts.

Sometimes I find voices annoying. My sister can leave me alone for a few hours after talking to me and I wouldn't be able to stand her voice anymore just because it doesn't sound right. It's the same for a lot of people, really.
Also constant scraping noises! Somebody can be scratching their leg or something and when I feel like enough is enough I'll snap at them, because it's just-- Sometimes I don't really mind.
Also metronomes or grandfather clocks, it makes my skin crawl whenever it's all I can hear for long periods of time, even if I do like the aesthetic of both objects.

Omg, the scraping noises! I actually forgot about those, but we don't even have to actually hear the sounds irl to be aggravated by that. Just the memory of it makes our skin crawl.
Especially when the scraping is on denim or metal. Both are nightmares :/ (and are actually worse than the endless beeping noises lmao).

Beeping noises, especially when they sound like my alarm clock. Also any wet sort of schloop is just gross.

Just....lip smacking in general makes me want to scream. If you're eating and you smack your lips or make any other type of wet sound I will cringe.

I worked with a guy who absolutely, could not tolerate the sound of Styrofoam being rubbed together. Which was a problem, because we worked together during the period where we were assembling our new store location, and there is a lot of styrofoam in the packages that all the pieces come in, not to mention products.

We have mild tinnitus and mostly don't notice it but it occasionally worsens and it's so frustrating not being able to escape the very noticeable high-pitched eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
