I've been to therapy when I was little for an unusual fear of mine, and the therapist trapped me in one of those swings that enclose you and are fabric? I don't know what they're called. Then she swung me around. Five year old me was terrified, as I was already scared of being on swings, and being trapped in the dark was not a pleasant experience for anyone. I screamed and cried, and I think that actually made my fear of being on unstable ground worse.
I've never found a good therapist.

Thats why I have to fight my brain not to think every 'mind doc' out there is a Dolores Umbridge level jerk at times *nod*
