Just frozen banana alone, with no chocolate? :O Cuts out a step, I guess, and is probably healthier, but still...

Hm, yogurt. I'd probably eat more of it if I had lactose tolerance/ lactase persistence. Lemon-flavored sounds nice.

Plain frozen banana is actually surprisingly good! Like, a banana has quite a bit of sweetness alone, and I think the change in texture from starchy-squishy to similar to a more creamy, ice-lolly mouth-feel makes it taste pretty much like an ice block.
That being said, you can dip it into other stuff if it isn't sweet enough for your taste.
Oh! You can also make "ice cream" with just frozen banana- simply chop it into "coins" before freezing. Once frozen, blend it and it should kind of "fluff up" into a soft serve-esque consistency. If you want it more solid, you can freeze it for an hour or so before eating.
But don't mix in coffee grounds trying to make coffee flavoured ice cream. It...doesn't work, and tastes pretty awful. Trust me, I know from experience....

Learning something new every day! But yeah, I'd imagine that coffee grounds in ice cream (banana based or not) would be extremely bitter. Like chocolate-covered espresso beans. The chocolate doesn't come even close to compensating for the bitterness. But I also have a strong sweet tooth, so I might just be weak in that flavor category.

It goes lovely with barley-malt mixed in, though, for a frozen malt!
Drat it, you two, now you've made me hungry.

Er. Barley malt with the frozen banana, not barley malt and chocolate-covered espresso bean.
That, um, might not need saying.
But just in case.

Always helpful to clarify.
Otherwise me, one chocolate-covered espresso bean and barley-malt concoction later: I think I did this wrong.
(Totally something I'd do.) I got hungry too and just sneaked into the kitchen to steal some cookies. :P

*googles barley-malt*
Oh, that stuff's in Milo? :o
So do you mean dipping the banana into a Milo/Ovaltine kinda choccy powder, or actual grains?
