Oh.
And papayas.
Yum, papayas. The smaller sweet ones fresh with maybe some lime squeezed on it, or the larger blander ones shredded into a salad.

Yeah, if I want to purchase blueberries -I do the you-pick thing and go to the farms. It's much, much cheaper!

Sadly, there don't seem to be any blueberry farms near where I live...farmer's market is slightly cheaper, but they're still like, $7 for two tiny boxes.
Though one time when I was 8 I went cherry picking and ate so many that I puked. That kind of ruined cherries for me. I make sure to have them in moderation.

It's around $1.20 a pound here, for the blueberries you pick. Or double that if you go to an organic place.

I love most berries and also nectarines~ Somehow they tend to be juicier than regular peaches ^^

This thread reminds me of a student club I used to be in, where every meeting started with some kind of cheesy icebreaker to force all attendees to introduce themselves. By far the most controversial of these was the question: "What is your least favorite fruit or vegetable?"
Things got heated. I had no idea people were so protective ofcelery apples (to stay on the topic of fruit).

Things are gonna get crazy. I have an intensive question that I'll be posting week-to-week. This is the place where we can go to have significantly less-crazy interactions. (And also so you can reap the benefits of another place to post and accrue sweet, sweet lucre.)
