Surely we could have a kettle - save the microwave for OTHER culinary abominations, like mug cakes!!

There is an NPC who strongly agrees with you, lol. Othidar of the Enchanted Forest feels very strongly about brewing tea in a kettle with spring water, sweetening with honey.

I also use the microwave all the time because I don't have the energy for the other.

To be honest, it's been a while since I had classically-brewed tea (unless you count stuff you buy from the store in a bottle, but I suppose what's most likely a boiling vat in a factory somewhere isn't exactly "traditional")- mostly out of laziness, to be honest. Then again, it's been a while since I had tea in general... Hmm.

Haha, I agree! I went with it just so I could make the tea in game, but I don't think I've ever used a microwave to make tea! A kettle, a Keurig, a hot water spout at the office, but never a microwave XD
