ooooooooooh boy. i have a lot, and you can always check out more of it on my page, the pages of my Kith, and the google doc that’s linked to in my website section. lore time! so, Adraxa D’Merann used to be a fairly normal hope teenager, with an extremely curious streak. this curious streak led her to explore dangerously close to the tatters, which resulted in her: - finding a comatose cinis, which she kept for 6 months until the cinis woke up and became Adraxa’s first ally - finding a [item]Time Magic Staff[/item], which resulted in her accidentally time jumping, and aging herself to an old woman and back again. everything turned out fine, except for her hair, which stayed white. -encountering some stray magic from the enchanted forest and getting elf ears. This resulted in MORE SHENANIGANS, such as: -ripping holes in spacetime -finding a [item]Light Magic Staff[/item] as a gift from her future self -accidentally creating a time elemental cat -getting retractable head-tentacles from a magic accident -becoming an eldritch abomination -throwing things into the void -giving a sentient magic sigil a corporeal form -getting a weird cloak from her future self with an ominous message She’s a student, and she’s generally well-behaved, but she’s an atrocious procrastinator. (Time magic means you have basically all the time in the world) She very much wants to go to the Enchanted Forest. Summerlea- Curious Cinis: A Cinis that Adraxa found comatose after being exposed to a harsh winter. She cared for them for 6 months before they woke up. Their growth is permanently stunted from this. Summerlea likes bugs. All bugs. Even the scary ones. She often brings them home so Adraxa can explain which one they are. While they’re mainly into bugs, they also are good with other animals. Illumine- Curious Licorne: A Licorne that used to be a sentient magic sigil...it’s complicated. They used to be more outgoing and cheerful when they were younger, but are now more reserved. They like studying magic, and will often be found reading arcane tomes, even though Kith can’t do magic(even though Illumine is a very unusual Kith) (some of these shenanigans went on in the UHHHH HELP rps, if you want to check those out!)

My character, Candle, is, well, an inkblot toon. And they don't remember where they're from, having been somehow stranded in Hope for a while before exploring the other remnants. Currently hangs around Shadow Stage a lot, I think I may've done a thing but I'm forgetful and shy and disappeared for a few months at one point.

Basically me but hasn't dropped out of school. Yet. I briefly considered it when we found the Reef, but decided I'd rather stay home and get free dorm food than have to eat algae and boot stew. (even if it did mean being close to Bonnie) Depression makes it hard to keep up with my studies, which is most of why it took me way longer than my classmates to start dabbling with the Forest's magic. I finally decided to give (nice, safe) light magic a shot when the short daylight hours started really getting to me. Once I felt confident that I wouldn't [i]fail catastrophically and burn down the whole dorm,[/i] I tried experimenting with other elements, particularly fire magic to help keep me warm. I'm excited to delve deeper into ice and water magic once summer rolls around, but in the meantime just trying to understand Lenta and keep up with Skyler are enough sorcery for me. I was once an active member of the secretive Hope U Fight Club, (which absolutely does not exist and you did not hear about from me, should Nicolas, any other University staff member, or Iris ask you about. Actually probably just don't tell anyone, to be on the safe side.) but the aforementioned secrecy, changing locations, mental illness, and schoolwork, have all but stripped my ability to attend. ...I like to imagine that my character "gets around" so to speak, but I don't know if I can..fairly say that's true. Maybe they're just daydreaming as much as I am. I've thought about keeping a journal, specifically about raising kith, but have never actually taken the time to write anything down. Maybe my character has, but never shared any of it.

My TW self's entire story is just an invisible crowd going "oh god, they're back on their bullshit again" to me. They actually come from the pre-Cataclysm world, displaced one thousand years into the future through means unknown, and were shaken really badly upon their arrival, taking days to relearn to function at the bare minimum and weeks more to gain any sort of mental stability. Due to corruption from temporal displacement and their weak mental state, glitch effects surround them, and sometimes parts of them lapse into and out of existence completely; when they first arrived, their entire body lapsed into nonexistence for almost an hour. They're trying to figure out a way to get back to their time, but as they learn to adjust more and more to their new home, they're not really sure they want to go back...

TW!Leslie is a cheery writer who lives in a small cottage adjacent to the Hope University Dorms! She hosts weekly tea parties, as well as big dinner parties around the holidays. [img]https://i.imgur.com/bPnFiQr.png[/img] Her mother is from a giant, uproarious family of mermaids and pirates in the Coral Reef, and her father is from a small, formal family in the Solarium's Upper Crust. Hence, she spent lots of time in both of those Remnants while growing up! [img]https://i.imgur.com/WQdA9O8.png[/img][img]https://i.imgur.com/ML29Pn7.png[/img] Leslie adores mollusks, and so most of her Kith are either Nibblugs or Amourtises. The one exception to this rule is Vuru, a curiously cat-like Bumblebunnee who accompanies her everywhere :3 [img]https://i.imgur.com/QwO4Abf.png[/img] While living on the Solarium, she met a chipper Thespian named [s]The Techie[/s] Vo, who had moved there after his enthusiasm for reprograming bright lights backstage was gently but firmly discouraged. Sparks flew, but unfortunately, she was about to move to the Coral Reef's deep ocean to connect with her mermaid side! There was considerable pining throughout their cross-Remnant courtship, but eventually love conquered all, and the two were married. (There are also lots of twinkly lights, due to the influence of Vo and his small Castwick, Spot.) It has a nice big pond in the middle for her Kith to splash in. She also sometimes likes to curl up in the water in her mermaid form, usually while listening to a fantastical Solarium audiobook. I love how everyone has really cool backstories and I'm just like, she's a regular student who is just dragged around by her Kith and has no clue what's going on. Also I never really thought of a name for her so I guess I'll call her Penny as it sounds cute She is stubborn but is always willing to lend a hand but has no brains in her head. She has no clue on how basic things work so is never really surprised when something weird happens as it's just like gravity working for her. For twoish years she kind of just ignored stuff happening and when she looked up from slacking off all of a sudden there is a lot of stuff happening. Her Kith Ruby just runs rampant and needs more discipline that Penny can't do as she has a problem telling people off and being rude. Ruby is very sweet and kind and her heart is always in the right place but that can cause chaos as her helping can be a lot worse than her not. I have always just liked playing normal average people with just weird stuff happening to them also I like the normal clothes. Also dipping out for two years has really left me a lot behind.

TW!Battery probably, maybe started as a normal human being, but honestly who can remember that long ago, and with their tendency to mess up illusion magic so bad they actually alter their physical being, they don’t exactly have proof either way (and still can’t figure out what to do about the antlers, they honestly get stuck in everything) Either way they’re currently studying at the university and attempting to learn EF Magics, focusing on illusion and growth in their free time with mixed success. (The magically multiplying potatoes and sentient tomato plant were both entirely unintended consequences of their practice) They also absolutely love bleppers and also their other kith and it’s probably safe to say if you see them wandering on campus they have at least 3 bleps walking with them.

TW!Niyo is a lad who kinda wiggles between universes. He also seems to be too aware of the fourth wall, though neither of these previous facts are ones he’s open about. Tends to drag other things into worlds with him. Loves him some good tech, and will swiftly become a problem if let loose in the Solarium. Probably also gay for a certain Commander... Sort of a shapeshifter. Seems to be tied to the fact that he’s basically got one leg stuck in the fourth wall at all times. Would totally go white/blue steampunk if offered the chance. Expect a bunch of Cinis when I get more kith slots.. Knows Japanese? And some magic? Leaves at random times, as if following 50+ other agendas.. Occasionally animalistic.

TW!Ela is [url=/users/profile/Leslie][@Leslie][/url]'s little sister who took a shine to the Pirate side of the family and thus spent lots of time voyaging around the remnants [s]swashbuckling[/s] seeing the world.
