I saw that Piper was stocking cream soda and for a moment I got SUPER excited because I love cream soda and I'm really thirsty.
Then I remembered that we're not in the future yet. :(

Dang, Cream Soda is so delicious too! I've been having the opposite problem though- I saw a ruler on my desk and thought to myself- I need to give that to Piper for her homework, wait....

As it so happened, right after that happened, I bemoaned Jay saying "thanks for the help, let me treat you" when in actuality I'm just going to turn around and dump the whole thing of chicken parmesan on my kith. My character never gets to eat any of the food they're given RIP
and shortly after that, I glanced at Iris and idly wondered if her mane tasted like cotton candy ice cream, and if so, whether I would be justified eating it.

I always headcanoned it that you eat alongside your Kith. Fun for nice cooked meals - less fun if you're feeding your Kith like, raw chicken or a single peanut.

I think the 'single' status is likely to be symbolic of 'a single serving'.
Otherwise we'd never be able to make lemon meringue pie with a single egg and a single lemon, for instance.
And we don't need a whole BAG of sugar for it.
So it has to be a fairly flexible amount being represented, yeah?

I usually decline quests after 5 days. I don't know why I just get tired of looking at them!

Well, five days is 100 other quests they could've asked you to do in the meantime, so that actually sounds quite reasonable. I'm far more impatient; usually if I still struggle with a quest even a single day later it'll be ditched in favor of the next one.
