I joined because unlike other sites where the more pets you have the more advantageous it is to the player and Tattered Weave is the first place I've seen to break that mold. While it's nice to have more than one Kith outside of a sort of status/popularity thing there isn't any gameplay advantage to having more than one.
Also I didn't know about the whole if your'e gone for a while and don't do quests the NPC's go back to neutral but that makes total sense and it's a great way to keep people at least visiting daily to do the easy daily quests at the very least. I love daily incentives like that, because even though I'm busy this month due to NaNoWriMo and with the holidays coming up it's something I look forward to spending at least a few minutes a day on.
Plus, dressable avatars to go with our pets and add another level of customization that actually shows when we post in the forums. I love that aspect, and the balance of items between stuff for our avatars and stuff for our Kith is super lovely.
Finally everyone here is just so nice. The staff are excellent, and the community as a whole just displays a level of maturity that's refreshing for a pet site in the wake of some others I have been on where these two things are not the case, often at the same time.
I look forward to spending time here on Tattered Weave, truly, and these are just some of a few reasons I love this site so much ^^

Here I go
I like the kitchen an recipes thing, specially to watch how my kitchen changes when I buy a new item for it. I'm positive that when the web grows up with the time new crafting will be added (the way cooking is placed into create it's a good clue)
I like you can choose a lot of colour for your kith since start, even the basics colours are pretty
I like the kith personality changes, I'm not able to moving from naive though XD
The layers customization... ah, so easy to move items up and down and don't get stuck in the "This item go always up and this other always back" I've seen somebody who uses this feature to convert the skirt into a large cape.
And, yes, to have to raise a kith to be able to raise another one... its just... makes sense
And, how the staff is receptive to suggestions, not matter if your suggestions in easily achievable or impossible to do, they usually aswer with something, doing it, putting on the schechule, discarding and explaining why...
AND THE RESTOCK SISTEM, NO MORE COMPULSIVE F5

I love getting the NPCs to smile at me. Also the item descriptions, customizable avatars, recipes that are pretty legit, and kith personalities.
The graphics are fabulous.
Probably my favorite part is the lore. I'm excited to see where TW goes with it.

I just can't get over how sensory this site is. It helps with grounding so much. It's such a weird thing to appreciate but it means heaps to me. I think I've been eating and sleeping better since I joined. Sure, you have to deal with food and clothes and stuff on any pet site (and any RPG), but it's usually fantasy food and clothes held together by obscure magic and I'm like "ok I'd better not dwell on how she runs around the wasteland with that mohawk staying upright". TW is realistic. The curved hips that all avatars have, the recipes full of actual cooking tips, the mentions of fashion tape and laundry logistics and even bathrooms in clothes descriptions - this is just so validating to me as an average person with my everyday woes of dealing with the physical world.
OK the more I edit this the less I'm certain it makes sense to anyone but me, but here's my two cents! I definitely second everything else mentioned in this thread too: the community is wonderful and the NPCs are charming and the graphics are very well done and I can't wait for the plot to advance <3

I am new here and still learning but def looking forward to the cooking and hopefully tailoring! I am registering in kickstarter just to help out later this week :D
Like other users have said, I appreciate how realistic it is around here, even the Kith make sense because of the story! and I love it that you get attached to them because you actually need to raise them and maintain your friendship with NPC's
I am very impressed so far and will be sticking around :3
