Let's be honest, his lab looks about as bad as mine, and I don't even wear my laser safety goggles most of the time. He's a good role model.

Haha but it actually makes sense for his lab to be at the top! Easier to let the fume hood smoke out and not fill other rooms!
So basically his lab was set up with all the proper safety features in mind, but someone isn't the best at following protocol.
