does some math… in case anyone was wondering like I was… binding an overwhelming snarl gives you the equivalent of 1320 gems (if you count both literal gem-granting items, and also premium items like clothing hangers and custom item submissions) strong snarls give you the equivalent of 755 gems mild snarls give you the equivalent of 225 and petty snarls give you the equivalent of only five gems (nobody has finished a devastating snarl yet) this means that even if you spend the full price 1000 gems on unmade patterns, binding five overwhelming snarls will essentially subsidize the cost of binding five strong snarls plus half the cost of binding one mild snarl!

Ooh that's some neat data, and that's not even including the exclusive items and clothes!

Yes! For me that made snarl binding worth it enough on its own… But it was a pleasant surprise to discover that it's also just pretty worth it in general!
