I've seen a bunch of folks asking how they're supposed to get to the new remnant or wondering why they can't see it -- and before the coral reef, a lot of newbies didn't even realise there was an Enchanted Forest, and it wasn't obvious how to unlock it if you don't already know. If you weren't here for the events, it's super easy to not even realise why there are characters you can't meet posting in the forums, or why other players are talking about things you've never seen.
I was thinking it might help that confusion to have a landing page even for remnants that aren't open to you. What if there was a button for the Enchanted Forest or the Coral Reef in the menu, but when you clicked on it without having access, you'd get something similar to the Everstorm landing page -- a shot of just chaotic tatters, with a message telling you something to the effect of "You can't seem to find your way" with links for "[buy a scanner for X gems], [return to Hope]," and maybe an option for "[ask Lycus about building a scanner]" with a link to the relevant Unique Quest Line?

I think that sounds like a great idea! Especially for this last event with all the story there was way to much to expect a newbie coming in to read through, so a brief message would be great! I would probably add search for it in the marketplace or forums as well.

I agree with this, too. When I first joined I had to scramble to catch up to get to the EF, and it would have been nice to have some sort of information page.

An addendum to this...
When you are going through a lot of notifications and follow one to a trade page, it'd be nice to have the trade status listed somewhere; it can be hard to figure out exactly why your side of the trade isn't updating at first, until you realize it was already cancelled.
Nothing indicates it that I can see? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but if it's truly not there, then a "Trade Not Accessible" or "Trade Cancelled" not somewhere would be great.
