but what would the people be like? we’ve always been introduced to a new humanoid race in every remnant, we had elves, dryads and harpies in the ef, merpeople in the cr, and thespians in the ss
so what would the canyon-people be like?
i’m not trying to criticize your idea, just curious

(It'd be up to the staff if they ever pursued this kind of idea, of course, but here are some thoughts I was having about it anyway just for funsies. ^^ )

Maybe smaller humanoids built for climbing and tunnel dwelling. Clawed hands, whiskers, big dark eyes...maybe speckles/patches of different skin tones? And perhaps tails like mice or squirrels or monkeys. Or maybe they're straight-up rodent people with fur and big ears! Or indeed, my personal favourite: BAT PEOPLE.

Then you've got your standard fantasy dwarves! Helmets and beards and axes and such. We've already got elves, after all.

my kith idea was based on the time i went to the grand canyon and there were cute squirrels living at the very edge of the canyon!

I would LOVE a snowy, mountainous region, probably introduced during a winter event! Carved wooden buildings, everyone on skis, possibly yetis of some kind, lots of icicles and lanterns and sparkling snow....

A desert remnant would also be lovely :)
