Tutorial TutorialHello there! 0
Hello there everyone, I am new to Tattered Weave and can't wait to meet a lot of you. I'm really enjoying myself so far, hopefully I become a regular here.
I am extremely talkative and friendly so never hesitate to contact me.. If anything I will probably end up talking your ear off, I love to talk to people and to make friends.
By the wayyy...Anyone got any major suggestions towards a newbie like myself? I'm trying to give my kith leveled up n' such, I would love suggestions towards that.. Or is there a better way than games to earn shards? Feel free to lemme know ^^

Welcome welcome welcome! The gray tutorial buttons are super helpful, as well as the site guides forum, but if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! Welcome again!

Welcome to Hope! <3
For earning shards, it can depend. Games can be very good for starting out earning money. Kith Activities are also useful if you haven't already found those - check the Kith Allies page and one of the dropdowns will let you send your Kith out to do a task every day. One is to collect shards!
For later term players with a bit more resources, questing and item reselling can be very profitable. Questing requires a decent stash of items, as well as higher crafting levels in some cases, but quests that take cooked food and tailored clothes can give a lot of money. (It takes some time to learn which quests reward shards though!)
Item reselling was my usual method of earning shards. By buying commonly-needed items such as common cooking ingredients, tailoring materials, or common quest items, you can resell those on the marketplace at a higher price. People will pay extra for the convenience of not having to wait in shops! This does require some spare money though, since items won't sell immediately, but some items can be very popular and profitable!
(There are also a handful of other ways to earn shards, such as through buying gems with real cash and selling them for shards, or by selling art in the forums, or other things like that)
Hopefully this text wall isn't intimidating haha. Either way, welcome to the site and feel free to ask if you have any other questions!
Edit: forgot to mention forum shards orz
Every time you post, you earn 50 shards! (though you can only get that once a minute, to prevent spamming)
It's a small amount, but it can add up a lot. Some people like to post in a lot of forum games to get those nice shards. :P
