Tutorial TutorialHello All 1
I'm Six, and I joined today - this is my first post on the forums, even. Right now, I'm still looking around and exploring the site.
So hi! How've you been?

This is a different approach! :D Hello! Welcome to Hope, Six! the shiny new tutorial should help you with everything you need to know, but feel free to ask me anything if you don't understand something.
I'm doing quite well! I've been typing a short story since last night, so I've been entertained. It's magnificent compared to a few days ago, when I just lay on the couch and stared at the ceiling all day, aha. And how are you?

Welcome!!
How am I? I spent most of my day off staring into space before writing several walls of text and only getting a portion of what I needed to do done, haha. But it's still been an okay day!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Welcome welcome welcome!! I'm doing pretty well, had a day off today but next week I'll be back out doing geologic field work- I've been out in the middle of nowhere for the past 4 weeks, only one more to go!

The tutorial was helpful! It took me a second to realize there were different tutorials for different pages, ha.
Oh, nice! What's the story about?
I'm doing well! I picked up some tiger lily bulbils and want to plant them tomorrow, in the hopes they flower next year.

Not sure, it's really just nonsensical short stories about TW.
Planting flowers? That sounds relaxing, but I'm a plant-killer. Can't keep anything alive. Everything but my cacti. My cacti have managed to live.

I'm not sure how much I subscribe to Brandon Sanderson's types of writers, but he talks about people writing in a gardening (the story grows as it goes, serendipitously) vs architectural (planned out, less organic) style - kind of as a natural preference. Your answer really reminded me of the gardener-y way of writing! c:
It's nice, especially in the warmer months - though I mostly live vicariously through watching the proper gardens in the neighbourhood, ha.

Ah - good luck tomorrow, then! Though hopefully saying so isn't presumptuous. And thanks for the offer, I'll keep it in mind if anything comes up c:

If you don't mind my asking, what kinds of things does geological fieldwork entail? It sounds interesting!

Oh no go right ahead!! It really depends what you are doing, but for me I'm actually with a group this summer which goes out with the public to a couple of dinosaur fossil sites in Montana- for one of these sites I'm trying to figure out the paleoenvironment, so I'm describing the rocks, digging test pits in the ancient soils there and taking samples for thin sectioning, and taking a lot of pictures as well. Its pretty fun, plus I get to play around with helping with the fossils a bit as well!

Welcome to Hope! <3
People have already way beaten me to greeting you, but if you have any questions or want advice feel free to ask. ;3c Just like to throw that out there, even though I know others have said it already haha.
As for how I'm doing, I'm doing pretty alrighty! I'm pretty tired because my sleep pattern is messed up right now, but I've been finally closing in on getting gallery items so I'm pretty happy overall. =w=
