Yes, the pets do indeed grow. They gain a new appearance once every stat hits 100, 200, and 300 - at 400, you gain a new slot for another Kith! If you want to see what the evolutions look like, there's a Preview button underneath each Kith in the Tatters.

Oh I just got the quest for posting here haha
I suppose I'll say something with this so it feels less like spamming? I really like the lil minigames especially the airplane one it's nostalgic for when flappy bird was a hit for mobile gaming!
