I've been eyeing this website for almost half a year now. The concepts looked so intriguing and fresh!! I normally have my hands full with FlightRising, but I had way too much free time today and decided to finally take the plunge!!
I'm super happy with my kith and am looking forward to getting a handle on the game. But there's so much more to Tattered Weave than I had originally assumed. Or is Tattered World now?? Haha. I've read through the newbie guide, gone through the tutorials, and watched a few videos by PetSimmerJulie to get myself started. But there's still so much to learn!!

The site's had a whole lot of updates in the past few years, and a lot has changed or been added. (I believe PetSimmerJulie stopped playing before a lot of the updates too, so her videos may be missing some content there)
My advice would be to take it slow, if it seems like a lot. There are a lot of features you don't necessarily need to use right away. But if you do want to jump right in, the Tutorials are handy for that.
Either way, feel free to ask if you have questions about anything. We're happy to help out! Looking forward to seeing you around the site. :D

As for tips, hm... I feel like I had a lot of these, but I always come up short when I try to remember. Maybe I should make a thread to compile them? But my main tip would be, don't be afraid to ask for help. Fill out your wishlist, ask questions in the forums. This community is VERY helpful.

Thank you both for the warm welcome and the advice! I feel like I'm starting to understand a bit more about how to navigate and what there is to do. I think the only thing I'm still confused about is the Beta Battle event and how to participate. I can visit the Golden Colosseum Remnant and accept the quest to "win one battle" but I have no idea how to go about doing that.

The Battle System is an opt-in system at the moment, so you need to turn it on before you can see the Battle pages. If you go to your Settings page, it should be one of the check boxes on the first page I believe, and you can turn Battle on there.
After that, it'll show up as a menu option between Play and Community!

Thank you all again for the warm welcome and the tips! I've gotten a sort of routine now for what to do when I do my daily login. It's been pretty fun so far! While i don't think this is a game I can really sink my teeth into I can definitely see the appeal. And I'll continue to enjoy logging in every day and doing some quests!
