Oh boy, I forgot to get back to this at the beginning of the month, my bad! Had a lot of chaos with my phone breaking and senior design insanity (which I'm still going through now, gah), but I'll keep in mind to check out Rune Factory 4 if I try out a Rune Factory franchise game.
Unfortunately, Timothy, I didn't make it far enough to get to a festival, I think I only lasted like 3 days on my Friends of Mineral Town game, lol. Is it worth it just to get to that festival? I'm intrigued now, pffft. And that's cool that they didn't entirely remove the LGBT+ options there, but I'm hoping they learn from the success of games like Stardew Valley and realise that we've progressed. I tend to want to play as the male character no matter what, if the option's available, because I like those aesthetics better. So same sex or other such romantic options being available make me much more likely to play the game long-term.

Ooh, I was hoping to find a hangout thread of sorts here. I'm so used to some other sites having a subforum for threads like these, for general and long term chattering. I hope Tattered Weave makes a subforum, but if not, I guess this subforum is okay too.
How is everyone?

Welcome.
I've actually been a little sick so haven't been on much. I'm also working on some sprites for people elsewhere.
How are you?

I'm debating starting commissions on...one of any of the sites I lurk around on. I need to draw more to have enough samples for my styles though. Other than that, I've been pretty tired for little reason lately.

Hm... it's in the second season, Summer 6th I think. And you need a chicken to participate and actually experience the oddness of this event. It was definitely interesting to see and I'm glad I got a chicken in time and participated so it was worth getting there for me. I guess it depends on your sense of humor though. Definitely one of those moments where one has to question how sober the creators were when coming up with the idea.
They claim to be planning on making a game with same sex marriage options that are not going to be removed in international release. But also say they have to make a whole batch of characters that are strictly gay. Which I personally don't think they have to do. I mean all the marriage candidates in Stardew Valley could be considered bi or pans. So I don't see the point in making a whole separate group of strictly gay bachelors and bachelorettes. That also seems like it would limit options for their gay fans... What if I end up liking one of the straight candidates more than the gay ones? You know what I'm saying? It just doesn't seem necessary. It would also add a lot more story boarding and character development for those characters which would slow down the release of the game and add more work for them that could be avoided by just letting people marry who they want without any restrictions.

I honestly need to draw more too. Heh.
Well I'd like to check out your style sometime so let me know if you decided to open up shop here.
Hope it doesn't end up being something serious. Sometimes fatigue can be caused by something.

Just going to a big long post here for anyone that cares... So let's get this over with shall we?
*inhales* For awhile now, too long actually, I have been healing from a head injury (I believe I got it last year actually) that I honestly got in an embarrassing fashion, picking up my youngest cat's poop because he decided to take a dump right under the kitchen bar. And I hit it hard. I do believe the bar lifted a bit above where is was supposed to be anchored because I saw it move upwards and the mini popped corn maker also went up and came back down with a pretty loud noise. I am no stranger to head injuries and concussions which is probably why it takes me so long to heal from them.
So anyways I was told to avoid blue light from screens (most artificial light actually), bending down (this caused me much pain and I actually had to take a break from my pet sitting jobs), drawing or writing anything because apparently these are bad for concussions... I'm going to cut this short and just say I had to take a break from pretty much everything except for laying down and relaxing. With my anxiety and ADHD this is something pretty hard for me. I think I actually made it somewhat worse because I drew a picture. (I'm adding it as a ref to my art shop when I can) Cooking surprisingly helped. Which I know sounds weird, but it was when I was most relaxed and I basically just had someone fetch me things for whenever I needed something that required me to bend down. So that's why I was away because I needed to avoid light from screens and while I love TW it's colors are mostly white and bright which isn't good to look at when recovering from a head injury.
So I am still on the mend somewhat because it still hurts to lay on the side that took the brunt of the impact and I can't drink any caffeine or else my head will be in major pain and I still need to make an appointment with a neurologist, but I am doing much better and can actually look at blue light now without having major head pains.
On another note, I am attending college. I received a grant so I haven't had to pay. I don't know if that will change, but so far I have been very lucky not to have to deal with college bills.
