So far I haven't done any monochrome outfits. I really like mixing a variety of colors, personally. Even this dress my avi has on looks a bit plain now that I've equipped it, but they are rare to come by and kind of expensive at Tailored Fashions. So maybe I'll replace it if the nice Venn Diagram of "good color restocks" and "I have enough shards" comes to be.

But more likely than not, I will just make a new outfit all together. I could try this monochrome challenge. Would it be best to have *everything* match, including hair and eye color, or just clothing?

I am sure Himochi will be able to offer monochrome fashion opinions and advice, though. They always have such varied, cool looking outfits. :3

I don't have many tips for monochrome, admittedly. I always keep my hair colour + face the same, and try to stick to similar hair styles, so nothing there changes.

So the advice would kinda boil down to "I made an outfit that is monochrome" :'D

Tbh I tend to include a bit of colour in all of my outfits though. ;u;

Monochrome outfits are achieved by looking at a color of clothing and thinking "man this is a nice color". Or something like that.

Though there is a bit of contrast with the white and grey- I tend to mix my avatars up a bunch though- I had splat on before, which was basically as much color as I could throw on at once, so I decided to tone it down this week. Still, I normally focus on 2-3 colors and build from there. I don't worry about always looking the same, though I am most often sporting the confident pose with skin tone 4.

Yeah, I like to kinda build in accent colours and stuff to my outfits a lot - like that one green and purple outfit I did.
Mixing up colours is a bit more challenging to me than doing a single colour outfit. :P
